CDS Monarch has been awarded state funding for its Warrior Salute home for veterans returning from combat.

The state has given the organization a $100,000 grant to assist in its services. The Warrior Salute home was created as a safe haven for local veterans suffering from post traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injuries. With the money, CDS will be able to continue various forms of therapy, nursing services, health counseling and emergency services for affected veterans.
