Locust Hill is the site of the 26th annual “Teeing Off for Abilities” tournament. Money raised from Monday's tournament will help veterans and those with developmental disabilities.

The event is supported by local businesses and community members. Officials tell News10NBC there are 144 golfers in this year’s tournament and they are working towards a big goal.

Golfer Sankar Sewnauth said, “The funds that we raise today really benefit all of the services that we provide at CDS Monarch. We provide services to people with developmental disabilities. We provide services to veterans to seniors and especially our veterans who have come back from Iraq and Afghanistan."

Organizers say they raised $100,000 this year.
