The finalists for the 2014 Wealth of Health Awards — which honor businesses that promote workplace wellness — were announced Monday by Excellus BlueCross Blue Shield.

The 12 local businesses organized healthy cooking sessions and weekly produce deliveries, and added healthy snacks to meetings and celebrations. Employees at the companies also took advantage of onsite fitness classes, gyms and health fairs.

The Wealth of Health Awards are sponsored by Excellus BlueCross BlueShield and the Rochester Business Journal. One winner will be selected from each category and honored at a luncheon Thursday at the Hyatt Regency in Rochester.

This year’s finalists are: with 1 to 299 employees — Allen-Bailey Tag & Label, Inc., Caledonia; BonaDent Dental Laboratories, Seneca Falls; Monroe Plan for Medical Care, Pittsford; with 300 to 699 employees — American Packaging Corporation, Rochester; Canandaigua National Bank & Trust, Canandaigua; CDS Monarch, Webster; with 700 to 3,999 employees — Gunlocke Company, Wayland; Heritage Christian Services, East Rochester; Livingston County, Geneseo; and with 4,000 or more employees — Constellation Brands, Inc., Victor; Finger Lakes Area School Health Plan, Ontario, Seneca, Yates, Steuben, Livingston and Wayne counties; Tops Markets LLC, Buffalo.
